SHALJAM KA SAAG (TURNIP GREENS RECIPE)

 As everybody knows that Shaljam (Turnips) is a very tasty & beneficial for health vegetable. Today we try making Shaljam ka Saag Recipe. Very much tasty & delicious recipe. It really has a great taste when cooked in pure Desi Ghee. So, lets start!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cooking Oil
  • Coriander Powder
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Salt
  • Onions 03 (fine cutted)
  • Green Chillies
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Shaljam (Turnip) 01 Kg

PREPARATION:

  • Add 02 litres of water in a utensil for boiling & add salt & turnips in it. Cook for 30 minutes.
  • Then remove water from turnips and grind the turnips well with a big spoon.
  • Add cooking oil in another utensil.
  • Add onions, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, 02 glass water, corriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder & salt in cooking oil one by one and fry well.
  • Mix the grinded turnips in it. When it mixed well, fry for 15 minutes.
  • & Tasty Shaljam Ka Saag (Turnip Greens) is ready
  • Serve hot with Roti or Naan & have a great meal.
