Mix Daal Recipe

Daal (lentils) are all time favourite of everyone. Also they have alot of health benefits for us. Mix Daal is very tasty & delicious and much liked in Asia specially Pakistan & India and served with rice or roti. So, lets start!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cooking Oil 1 Cup
  • Onions 03 (Medium sized & fine chopped)
  • Tomatoes 02  (Medium sized & fine chopped)
  • Green Chillies 
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Grinded Garam Masala
  • Corriander powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Grinded Red Chillies
  • Salt by taste
  • Daal Moong 1/4 Kg
  • Daal Mash 1/4 Kg

PREPARATION:

  • Soaked the lentils in water for half an hour and then wash well.
  • Add onions in cooking oil and fry until it becomes light brown.
  • Add tomatoes. Add 01 cup of water in it.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chillies, green chillies, salt, corriander powder and mix it and fry well.
  • Now add Garam Masala in it.
  • Add lentils (mix daal) and fry for 2 minutes. Then add 2-3 glass of water. When the water boils, make the flame light and cover it.
  • After sometime, Mix Daal is ready.
  • Serve it with rice or eat with Roti, Chapati & Roghini Naan.
